I have just a little footage from the Gift of Gab show last night at the Reef. Extra dope show. Gift of Gab tears microphones to pieces! and he shouts out Idaho in his freestyle. I'm cool with that.
Here are some pics from the Viva El Arte art exhibition at the Nampa Cultural Center. There were great artists displayed such as Alma Gomez, Migel Delgado, Allison Corona, Luz Camarena Julio Cantu, and Blakbook Studio's own Bobby Gaytan and Alejandro Anastasio. There was an excellent turn out for visitors at the reception. The Commission of Hispanic Affairs, The Idaho Press Tribune, The Mexican Consulate of Boise, the Cultural Center board members as well as several of Boise State's chicano professors were present.

Big Bobby Blakbook is goin in on another exhibit! He's going to feature some new artwork at the Nampa Cultural Center. We'll post those up another time but for now here's the info. The display begins Sept. 16th so get over there and check it out!
Just gettin back from the fair. It was a blast. Tons and tons of people came by the booth for work. We were happy to be of service. I'll post pics of some work we did later. I'm back in the gallery right now. I'm just posting pics of it to remind you how dope it looks in here. Get at me!
So here I was, just enjoyin myself at The Soul Food Extravaganza at Julia Davis Park right here in little Boise. Wellllll, I was actually workin but that doesn't mean I wasn't enjoying myself. This event was tight! There were a lot of great people in attendance as well as performing and running the place in general. In short, a very fun time. I'll tell you what though, I turned around every once in a while and notice that Bobby just disappeared and I'm like "What the..." But look what he came back with!
Blakbook was born in 2003. Blakbook has devoted it's time, skills, and talent towards the local hip hop movement.
Believe, Love, and Achieve Knowledge is what we represent. Key ingredients of a successful artist. I have not yet seen or scratch the surface of all the talent that lives out there! I'm searching and broadcasting talents and success. In return the people of Boise have been showing us plenty of love and respect.
Growth is a very long process that we are doing exceptionally well in.
