In case you haven't noticed, I have an in-house photographer. Louis Cadang has found his passion and it is photography. I'm not mad. He's really good at it. He has his own style and flare for his chosen profession. If you're ever interested in having photos done (family, portrait, or any reason) hit Louis up. You cannot go wrong with him. Email him at lcadang@gmail.com for any questions that you have.

Chick-fil-A Arrives
Entering the Boise State SUB my dining partners and I were greeted by several students carrying overstuffed bags with the red Chick-Fil-A logo staring us in the face. We turned the corner and screeched to a stop due to a hoard of Chick-Fil-A crazed maniacs. The line moved fast despite a few logistical snafu’s concerning a slow waffle-fry cook and spicy chicken sandwiches that had been oversold.
The menu is small due to the fact that it is an “Express” version of the famous chicken chain. Three sandwiches, chicken nuggets, a salad, and various dessert options insure speedy delivery. Our party ordered a cross sampling (minus the spicy chicken sandwich to my chagrin) of items. I ordered the classic chick-filet, deliciously breaded and fried chicken breast on a bun with pickles, if I were to speculate, I would say the bun is grilled in mayo…fantastic. Waffle fries are a must so we ordered two servings. Trini had the grilled chicken sandwich because he is concerned that he’s getting fat (which he is) I found his selection lack luster, limp lettuce and under ripe tomato has never been my forte. Mr. Cadang ordered the 8 piece nugget, upon opening the box he promptly stood up, proclaiming the greasy nature of the entrĂ©e(duh…they fry them in oil) and went in search of a fork. He returned with wooden coffee stirrers because no forks could be found. Chop-sticking the first nugget into his mouth with the make-shift coffee utensils he voiced his opinion once again, too salty he claimed. I will validate the excessive saltiness, there is not enough chicken to breading due to the small size of the nuggets.
A smorgasboard of sauces was set out in front of us for dipping pleasure, BBQ, Honey Mustard, Chick-Fil-A sauce(a mixture of BBQ and honey mustard that is surprisingly tasty), buffalo sauce, and honey mustard. The house sauce was unanimously the favorite. All-in-All the entire meal, including three medium sized soft drinks came to 18.49, being about average for the usual fast food experience.
